Cuban Sliders

When I was in university I always dreamt of having super bowl parties, but not because I’m into football (far from it, don’t know the rules nor care for it) but for all the appetizers and good food that is around. And while I still haven’t been to a super bowl party, I have for the last few years been practicing for it. These Cuban sliders are such a hit, mini so you still have room for all the other good food! It’s also great for pot lucks or if you are going to a super bowl party and looking to bring something. Can be prepared ahead of time and all you have to do when you get there is heat it up.

12 servings / 15 mins prep / 30 mins total time

Ingredients

12 mini dinner rolls

250 g of sliced black forest ham

5 slices of havarti cheese

3 pickles, sliced horizontal

Dijon spread

2 tbsp mayo

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 375°F.

Cut the dinner rolls in half, removing the top and placing the bottom of the rolls in a baking pan.

Add a layer of cheese, making sure that the cheese covers all the dinner rolls.

Spread the Dijon spread all over the cheese followed by the ham then add the pickles so each dinner roll has some pickles.

Bake for 15 minutes or until the rolls are toasted brown and cheese is melted.

Remove sliders from the baking pans and cut into 12 sliders. Enjoy!
