These honey glazed carrots are a must for any occasion or gathering! It offers a rich sweet pairing to whatever protein you might be serving. Ingredients
Carrots, 3 medium or 2 large, peeled and sliced thick
1½ tbsp salted butter
1 garlic clove, grated
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp ground thyme
Salt and pepper
Directions
Bring a medium sized pot filled with water to a boil. Once the water is boiling, add the carrots then keep to a simmer and cook until fork tender, about 8 to 10 mins.
Drain the carrots and set aside.
In a small skillet over medium heat, add the butter and garlic. Add the carrots along with the honey and thyme. Mix until a glaze forms, about 2 to 3 mins. Season with salt and pepper. Serve as a side to your main dish and enjoy!
